Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Marketing function, including all aspects of brand and marketing activity.
  • Own and develop the brand and marketing strategy, building consensus within the senior team.
  • Create, and report against, an agreed marketing budget.
  • Develop innovative solutions to out-perform competitors marketing spend and activity.
  • Build effective marketing assets including sales materials, in collaboration with wider Commercial team.
  • Leadership of the current Marketing team, plus expanding the function with recruitment of new hires.
  • Lead the design, implementation and activation of participation at industry events and conferences.
  • Create and nurture appropriate relationships, generating advocacy for the clients’ products and services.
  • Effectively and astutely negotiate complex marketing commercial agreements in conjunction with the C-level team.
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of betting and gaming industry trends and developments providing insights to stakeholders across the business.
  • Lead on special or exceptional projects.
  • Regular reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience (5+ years) as a CMO or head of marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels.
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g., CRM).
  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.
